We Test, Service, Install
Backflow preventers are installed to prevent contaminants from traveling from the non-potable source to the potable public drinking supply via back siphonage and back pressure.
Backflow testing is a service that checks your backflow preventer device by assessing its pressure levels. When backflow is present, untreated, or contaminated water can be back-siphoned into your clean water.
When a fire protection system (non-potable water system) is connected to the public water supply, the systems are said to be cross connected. Improperly protected water systems have the potential to lead to illness and even in some cases death. Federal regulations require states to provide quality water when it is intended for public consumption.
RG Fire Protection can test, service, repair and install backflow devices on both fire lines and domestic lines. We work collaboratively with water purveyors.
